Our Jolly Christmas Concert

We are very grateful to the Jubilate Choir who put on a wonderful performance for our Christmas Carol Concert at Wimborne St Giles Church, it was a great success. There were festive refreshments of mulled wine, mince pies, stollen cake and Lebkuchen to get our guests int other festive spirit.

We raised £325 in donations on the door. and are delighted that our raffle, which was drawn by our patron Lord Shaftesbury, raised £3256! These much-needed funds will go towards keeping up the winter lunch deliveries and keeping the Jolly Days going in the year ahead.

Thank you to all the very generous organisations and people who donated such special prizes and made this possible. The raffle was hugely supported by local businesses who donated fantastic prizes such as 2 x weekend tickets to End of the Road festival 2025, including camping, a two-night stay in a Pepper Pot Lodge at St Giles House Estate, lunch for two at The Smokehouse at Compton Airfield, £150.00 voucher for John Lewis donated by Pipefix, a Spring Cider Tour at Dorset Star Cider and a voucher for Cream Tea for two at The Rising Sun Tavern, Donhead St Mary’s and lots more.
