Wish you were here…

it was a gloriously sunny day last time we met at Wimborne St Giles for a Jolly Day. This meant we could get creative outside, there was painting and plenty of fun and games.

We had a visit to the church where we spotted the Shaftesbury family crest on a stained glass window, even though it’s over 400 years old the motto seems very appropriate for today ‘Love and Serve’. We also took a look at the nearby Almshouses, and spotted a ‘Green Man’, these beautiful buildings are circa 1620. We are blessed to have a wealth of history on our doorstep here in Wimborne St Giles.

Where would we be without music? Kate entertained us on the old ‘Joanna’ and there was Maxine’s ‘Table of Wonderment’ that never fails to delight. Spring is well and truly here.

Take care everyone, have a look at our ‘Self Isolation?’ page and keep in touch… we miss you
