Oh what fun we had!

What a fantastic day 8th July turned out to be, we came together to celebrate the launch of In Jolly Good Company. Fifty friends, family, supporters, volunteers and people keen to find out more about what we are offering, gathered on a sunny afternoon in Wimborne St Giles Village Hall.

Lord Shaftesbury (our Patron) gave a cracking opening speech and we enjoyed delicious cream teas and homemade cake.  We were royally entertained by Kate on the piano and then we sang together, expertly led by Clara and Colin.

The atmosphere of goodwill, fun and support towards our work was incredible.  Although this was a free event, we raised £187 in donations towards our goal of providing community, connection, support and uplifting activities for older people from Wimborne St Giles and beyond. Thank you all so much for coming along and supporting this special launch party.

If you are interested in attending our regular sessions in Wimborne St Giles or at Kingston Lacy allotments. Please do get in touch!

I’m a web designer and I love creating beautiful, affordable websites that work hard for small businesses. Simply put, a business needs a website to reach more customers. It needs to look good but it also needs to work hard. That’s where I can help, I build cost-effective, good looking websites that are both mobile and google friendly.
