Art class with Julie Foulkes

We had the most wonderful afternoon painting with the incredibly talented Julie who lives in Wimborne St Giles. She arrived carrying the biggest bunch of flowers and foliage I’d ever seen! She’d collected them from the surrounding hedgerows and fields and she soon set about arranging them in various containers and vases on an old wooden step ladder she found in the hall. The end result was something only an artist could create… effortlessly stylish and a joy to look at, let alone paint!

I never realised we had so many budding artists in our group but Julie soon helped them uncover their creative skills and we ended up with the most fantastic gallery of finished paintings.

Sue, a carer, said her husband Peter had enjoyed it so much they did some painting together a few days later in their garden. It’s lovely to hear that our afternoon had such a positive impact.
